Today was a great day!

I feel really happy to be back here writing posts with all of you. I don't know why but damn this really works well for me. What I must remember in the future is to post even when things are not going well. It seems like it becomes all to easy to not post once I haven't posted in a week.

As for today, I did write down everything that I put in my mouth. It made me feel good about myself and I felt more in control of my food. I have found it to be easier to keep a little note book with me rather than post in on line. However I write down my daily calorie count here. 1493 calories. Not to bad!

I did not walk today but instead I worked in my garden for two hours, weeding, pruning and watering all the plants. So that will count as my exercise for the day.

Goals for tomorrow
Shampoo my carpets.
drink lots of water.
write down everything that I eat.


  1. Super! I'm glad you're feeling good about yourself and what you've been doing. I think that's half the battle (at least it is for me! lol).
    Good to see you back...and if you get bored in your garden...I need someone to tackle mine. :)

  2. wow you sound great... what a difference 2 hours in the garden can make. I don't have a garden, unless you count my crop of crab grass.

    I find that blogging keeps me accountable like nothing else has. I blog the good, the bad, and the downright ugly. Mainly because I believe that if I own it, it's mine to so with what I want. I own my eating disasters, so I can put them behind me and look forward without them whispering nastiness at me. (but then, I'm weird that way, lol)

    Please post even on the bad days. It really will help in the long run. We all know what it is like to have them and can support you.

  8. I've never been able to conquer the food journal. It sounds like it has been fantastic for you. Down 31lbs, right? That's awesome!
